The Fender Jaguar Bass is more or less a combination of Fender Jazz Bass Fender Jaguar electric bass and electric guitar. The Jaguar bass is only available in the Red Hot Rod (same head) and black (not the head) in the United States, while Sunburst and Olympic White available on the Japanese market abroad, none of them has the color matching bass Head Hot Rod Red Edition.

The Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom Electric Guitar (Part # 025-9400-300) is more or less a combination of electric guitar Fender Jaguar Bass VI Fender electric bass: receiving configuration and change the installation is identical to the Jaguar, but uses the same heavier string gauges as a bass VI (25-35-45-55-75-95), a 28.5 "scale neck-length (as opposed to the Bass VI for 30" scale length) and one is tuned an octave lower EE Standard guitar. The Jaguar was based on the Jazzmaster, with the same "offset waist" body and "floating tremolo" system. Like the Jazzmaster and Bass VI, the Jaguar has an unusual floating tremolo tremolo arm mechanism that was a complete departure from the synchronized tremolo system found on the Fender Stratocaster. This floating bridge concept was also later used in the Fender Dynamic Vibrato, another design used on the Fender Mustang. Intended as Fender's top of the line guitar upon its release in 1962, the Jaguar never enjoyed the popularity that the Stratocaster did. Many guitar players find fault with the design of the original Jaguar bridge, which features saddles that have many grooves cut into them (similar to screw threads). As a solution, many Jaguar players replace the Jag bridge with a Fender Mustang style bridge, which only has one string groove per saddle. The recent Fender Toronado line of guitars shares the same body shape as the Jaguar.

Tremolo Arm/Whammy Bar at a Great price. A common complaint about the American Vintage (AV) Jaguars and Jazzmasters is that the trem arms do not fit snugly into the collet that holds them in place. These trem arms do not screw in, but are held in place by a friction fit with the collet in the trem assembly. One easy solution is to wrap Teflon plumbers' tape (PTFE thread sealing tape, in some circles) around the arm tram and enter into the assembly Collet, can be very helpful.
This is a view of the collet with the trem arm installed.
If you ever try to tighten up the collet teeth, always be sure to have your trem arm in place - otherwise, you're almost guaranteed to bust off a collet tooth or two.
Your basic beveled rubber washer - this one is 3/8" size. The inner diameter is just a little bit too small to fit tightly over the collet, so I used a tapered reamer to make the inside of the washer a bit bigger.
Assembly complete! Tapered washer has been placed over the collet. Say goodbye to the floppy tremolo arm!

Jaguar history began back in the late 50's, with the discovery of a guitar known as a "fender Jazzmaster". Jaguar is one of the guitar with the sound quality that can represent the musicians of the world to be used as a character when making recordings. Forrest white, one of the three main Fender™ men, back then, had been experimenting with double circuit guitars.
Forrest submitted the idea to his friend and co-worker Leo Fender. “Leo didn’t play guitar, he couldn’t even tune a guitar, so he didn’t think this was important.” So created a new guitar comes with two separate circuits. The Guitar is Fender's top of the line guitar. This guitar became known as the Jaguar. Launched in 1962, showing Jaguar shorter neck with 22 frets, new chrome plates and instead switch is slide switch 3 switches, and more pickup with a metal thin protective order not to scream.
