The amp has two options in this channel: Vibrolux and Bassman.

Fender blackface clean is Fender blackface clean. My thoughts are pretty much contradictory.

I do miss the Presence control though.

Overall, at average settings the gain channel had a Fender/Marshall blend, more toward the Fender side of things.

I imagine there are dozens of good tones lurking inside this amp, but again, due to time constraints, i was only able to get a few in.

Like I said earlier,, the gain stages are very interactive, as are the tone controls. All combined, the controls allow a wide range of tones.

In between, other tones were to be had:

an all-around rock sound which cleaned up nicely when the guitar's volume was rolled off

a fat bluesy tone that would make SRV happy

a Mesa-ish crunch, not the recto sound, mind you, but nonetheless a Mesa tone.
