The Fender Stratocaster, more commonly referred to as the Strat is one of the most famous guitars. There have actually been several variations upon the original Fender Stratocaster. The original guitar was a two color sun burst finish that made it really shocking to look at. While many of the newer Fender models may have improved on the sound quality and musical ability that the guitar can handle, the vintage Fender Stratocaster guitars still fetch a pretty penny.

There's little doubt that the Fender Stratocaster has long since secured its fame and glory as an icon among electric guitar design. Most reviews of the new Stratocasters are glowing with musicians saying they are well built and utterly playable instruments.

There's a new bridge which houses improved saddles and the block is now copper infused which results in extended sustain and an over all improved tone. The neck was also looked at in this latest review with Fender opting for a tint treatment and as usual it's buffed to a high gloss finish.
