Removing the pickguard

# Remove the strings OR remove the neck to have some workspace when changing the pickguard.
# Unscrew the pickguard screws. There are pickguards with eleven screws and eight screws.
# Unscrew the selector switch. There are 2 screws.
# The springs may stick to the pickup magnets. You will need the springs to adjust the pickup position.

# Reattach the switch and the nuts for the Volume, Tone and Tone pots.
