Fender, as a brand of guitar, known as the old classic style rally with modernity. One example of this is the Fender Jaguar HH Electric Guitar. A mix of modern vintage worn by the musicians, especially guitar players.
It is, essentially, a 1969 Jaguar. Features: The body of the Jaguar HH guitar, like most other high end Fenders, is made of alder wood. Electronically, the Jaguar HH has two Dragster humbucking pickups. There are volume and tone slide switches and a kill switch for each pickup. Also, the neck, though it's bolted on, has great high fret access thanks to the Fender Jaguar body style. Model Name : Jaguar HH. Body: Alder. Neck : Maple, “C” Shape, (Gloss Polyurethane Finish). Neck Codes
1962-1972 Rubber stamped codes. The code works like this: ABBBCCD
A= The part number for the neck.
Then the code changes to "15" in 1966.
Code does not really show any real spec changes as Jazzmaster and Stratocaster. Indeed fender will not really change anything for the image model, the company is very sensitive fender to prioritize which ones should be changed and which do not have to be changed.
Dates: 1967-1970's Date codes are usually found in the neck pocket, but are not always present. Pickups:
The pickups follow Stratocaster pickups in materials, but are different in a couple obvious ways. 1963-late 1964 The pole pieces are changed to staggered. Mid 1964 we see yellow date ink stamps.
Late 1964-very early 1965 Light gray bobbins replace black. 1968-1974 Dark gray fibers. Date is now stamped with a rubber stamp. Winding wire converted into Polysol. Hookup wire changed from vinyl fabric.
STAGGER POLE
1964 YELLOW STAMP
1968-1972 Four digit code. ABBC
A-Some sort of factory code, probably a batch number
BB- Week code (same as the week code on Pots)
C-Last digit of the year 8=1968, 9=1969, 0=1970, 1=1971, 2=1972
1972 we see more numbers appear. First one extra digit. I have seen some late 70's pickups where it appears the week code and batch code get swapped around.
guitar players loved the design so that combined with aluminum pickguard.
Tailpiece
The tremolo tailpieces only went through one significant change. The spring did change along with the introduction of the Patent number. In accordance with the original screw plate tailpiece perfect. Case details
Cases for these guitars run along the same rules as other Fender guitars made the same years. Many people will be upgraded to a real case after a few moments to make the case for the era of guitar colors. 1963-mid 64 White Tolex, orange interior Black ends. 1964-5 Black Tolex, orange interior
Late 1965-1967 Black Tolex, orange interior, Fender logo added. No tail on the logo
1967-1971 Black Tolex, Fender logo gains a tail. Some range from bright orange short piled to old style golden orange with medium pile. LINKS: http://www.jimshine.com
