This is a '63 Jaguar Candy Apple. Bridge, dumb down the plate and control plate NOT ORIGINAL. Original control plate with a guitar, but rough. has the original protective plastic back cover (see photo). Fender Jaguar guitar Peghead Decals:

Jaguar with a unique rhythm circuit with the Jazzmaster. L-Series serial # 's (1963 to late 1965) The serial number on neck plate fender during these years preceded the "L". Model 1965 is considered pre-CBS (CBS bought Fender while in January 1965). Serial # L96516 listed on the neck chrome plate metal. Controls include: master tone, master volume, 3-way pickup selectors, mute switch, rhythm circuit selector, tone and volume for rhythm circuit.
